This year’s meeting of the Serbian Group for Primary Immunodeficiencies (SGPI) once again confirmed its importance as a central gathering point for experts dedicated to improving the diagnosis and treatment of primary immunodeficiencies. Through a carefully designed program, the meeting provided a comprehensive overview of the most current topics and challenges encountered in clinical practice.
The program covered key aspects of primary immunodeficiencies—from early recognition and differential diagnosis to modern therapeutic approaches and long-term patient monitoring. Particular emphasis was placed on clinical challenges and the importance of timely diagnosis, which directly affects treatment outcomes.
One of the central topics was the optimization of intravenous immunoglobulin therapy, with a focus on the importance of treatment consistency, standardization of approaches, and tailoring therapy to individual patient needs, as well as their impact on long-term outcomes and quality of life.
The meeting once again highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration and the exchange of experience among experts, which is crucial for advancing standards of care in this field.
We are proud that our company, Magna Pharmacia, supported this important meeting and contributed to the further development of the professional community.
