PNS 2026 – Latest Insights in the Field of Peripheral Nervous System Diseases

From June 13 to 16, 2026, Magna Pharmacia attended the annual congress of the Peripheral Nerve Society (PNS) in Maastricht, one of the most important international gatherings dedicated to diseases of the peripheral nervous system. The congress brought together leading experts in the fields of neurology, research, and clinical practice with the aim of exchanging the latest scientific and clinical findings.

Particular attention was drawn to lectures dedicated to inflammatory neuropathies, with a focus on chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), one of the most important indications for the use of intravenous immunoglobulins. The latest data on long-term patient follow-up, therapy individualization, and optimization of immunoglobulin administration regimens were presented, with the goal of achieving the best possible therapeutic outcomes and quality of life for patients.

A significant part of the program was also dedicated to new approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral neuropathies, as well as the application of modern technologies that contribute to more precise monitoring of disease progression and response to therapy.
